It took a long time, far too long, but now we’re finally online. The idea for our blog came to us back in 2019, and we launched with great joy, designing logos, throwing ourselves into projects, and renting a server. The basic framework was in place after less than a month.
But then…
Yes, then the problems began. We still don’t understand why. Shortly after we reserved our domain videogame-saturday.com and posted a first draft online, the first hacker attacks began. Our site was compromised several times and used for dubious advertising. Data was deleted, and weeks and months of work were destroyed. And all this despite the fact that we weren’t even online. All we could see was the “Coming Soon” sign.
Well, we decided to take our time, paraphrasing Steve Jobs: “Things are worth doing right.” So, we first secured the site thoroughly (more details here) and put a lot of effort and love into its implementation.
Today it’s finally time to say: “Hello world!” We’d like to welcome you to our website. It’s great that you’re here. Your presence can only mean one thing: You love video games just as much as we do.
Video games are our passion, and that’s why we always reserve one day of the week just for them: Our Video Game Saturday!
Over time, we’ll share all our previous video game projects and, of course, future ones with you here. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoy implementing our ideas.
We try to document all projects neatly and according to a specific standard. This way, wherever possible, you’ll get information about the duration, costs, and skills required for implementation, so you can assess for yourself whether you’d like to do something similar.
Feel free to send us your results and, of course, your ideas. We’re always open to new ideas :)
