Spoiler: Sehr. Wirklich sehr, auch mit IT-Background.<\/p>\n<p>Was als gem\u00fctliches Projekt f\u00fcr die Gaming-Community geplant war, entwickelte sich schnell zu einem digitalen Survival-Horror \u2013 ganz ohne Respawn.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Level 1: Aufbau der Seite \u2013 oder: Der Endgegner hei\u00dft Zeit<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Der Plan war simpel: Seite bauen, Inhalte rein, fertig. Die Realit\u00e4t? Ein episches Abenteuer mit mehr Bugs als \u00a0Cyberpunk zum Launch. Unsere Seite wurde zur digitalen M\u00fcllhalde \u2013 noch bevor sie \u00fcberhaupt jemand besuchen konnte. Warum wir? Gute Frage. Vielleicht war unsere URL fr\u00fcher mal ein russischer Bitcoin-Blog? Vielleicht haben wir einfach Pech. Vielleicht hassen Bots einfach Gamingseiten.<\/p>\n<p>Einmal nicht aufgepasst, zack \u2013 alles futsch. Kein Backup. Nur Tr\u00e4nen. Und dazu dann auch noch ein leerer Server, der sich weigerte, mit dem neuesten Ubuntu zu sprechen. Also: Umzug. Neuer Server, neue Hoffnung. Spoiler: Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt, aber sie stirbt.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Level 3: IP-Sperren \u2013 Der Kampf gegen Windm\u00fchlen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Die Angriffe gingen auch auf dem neuen Server weiter. Klar, weiter die gleiche URL und weiter WordPress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eDann sperren wir einfach die IPs der Angreifer!\u201c \u2013 sagten wir. Und sperrten. Und sperrten. Und sperrten. Ganze L\u00e4nder wurden ausgesperrt. Aber die Bots? Die kamen trotzdem. Mit Proxies. Wie Zombies mit VPNs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Level 4: Sicherheitsplugins \u2013 Placebo f\u00fcr Admins<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich haben wir Plugins ausprobiert. Viele. Manche haben ein bisschen geholfen. Die meisten waren wie ein Regenschirm im Orkan. Nett gemeint, aber nutzlos.<\/p>\n<p>Fun Fact: 2020 machten Bots \u00fcber 40% des weltweiten Internet-Traffics aus. Und ich bin ziemlich sicher, dass 39% davon unsere Seite besucht haben.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Level 5: Der letzte Versuch \u2013 Sucuri<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Wir waren kurz davor aufgeben, die Hoffnung war schon lange tot. Die Welt wird wohl nie erfahren, was zwei einfache Gamer so in ihrer Freizeit treiben.<\/p>\n<p>Dann wie durch Zufall kam Sucuri. Und pl\u00f6tzlich war sie wieder da &#8211; die Hoffnung. Die Web Application Firewall versprach Schutz, Stabilit\u00e4t und endlich Ruhe im digitalen Karton.<\/p>\n<p>Die Einrichtung? Nicht ganz trivial, aber auch kein Hexenwerk. Man muss wissen, was ein DNS-Server ist und wie man seine DNS-Einstellungen konfiguriert. Danach l\u00e4uft vieles \u00fcber die Sucuri-Oberfl\u00e4che \u2013 angenehm verst\u00e4ndlich und fast schon freundlich.<\/p>\n<p>Wer noch tiefer in die Sicherheit eintauchen will, muss sich mit Servereinstellungen besch\u00e4ftigen. Aber hey \u2013 alles, was man dabei lernt, hilft einem garantiert in der Zukunft. Auch wenn es uns also jede Menge Nerven gekostet hat, so hat sich der Aufwand gelohnt. Trotz weiter steigender Zahl an Angriffen l\u00e4uft die Seite stabil.<\/p>\n<p>Wir h\u00e4tten nicht gedacht, dass dieser Aufwand f\u00fcr einen kleinen Blog notwendig ist, aber wir haben auch einiges \u00fcber Sicherheit im Internet dazu gelernt.<\/p>\n<p>Heute l\u00e4uft die Seite stabil. Die fiesen Bots sind ausgesperrt, die Firewall steht wie eine digitale Festung, und ich habe mehr \u00fcber Netzwerksicherheit gelernt als in jedem IT-Kurs.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn du also selbst eine Gaming-Seite starten willst: Sei vorbereitet. Es wird nicht einfach. Aber mit Humor, Geduld und einer guten Firewall \u00fcberlebst du auch die h\u00e4rtesten Angriffe.<\/p>\n<p>Und denk dran: Immer ein Backup machen. Immer.<\/p>\n<p>Endlich k\u00f6nnen wir behaupten, dass wirklich alles f\u00fcr die Sicherheit der Seite getan haben und zum spa\u00dfigen Teil \u00fcbergehen<\/p>\n<p>In diesem Sinne: <strong>Danke
